Summer 2025 Sankofa Fit Cohort is Now Enrolling!
The program operates in a cohort model, with each group limited to 20 participants.
Cohorts are led by a dedicated team of coaches and support staff who guide you through every stage of the journey — from your first session to the final challenge. With personalized attention, accountability, and a strong community atmosphere, you’ll be set up for meaningful progress and transformation.

Strength & Conditioning Sessions:
Tuesdays | 7:15–8:00 AM (Virtual)
Wednesdays | 7:15–8:15 PM (Hybrid)
Saturdays | 8:00–8:45 AM (In-person)
Cardio Sessions (Bi-weekly):
Sundays | 8:30–9:15 AM (In-Person)
Weekly “Coaches” Hours for Q&A:
Mondays 6:00pm–6:45 PM (Virtual)
*We recommend attending at least two sessions per week to build consistency and strength over time.

This program is for anyone looking to elevate their fitness, build strength, and show up with discipline. Whether you’re getting back into your groove or pushing toward a new level of performance, Sankofa Fit meets you right where you are—with intensity and support.
To get the most out of this experience, we recommend participants come with a baseline of physical readiness. You should be comfortable completing:
30 minutes of continuous movement (walk, jog, or workout)
Bodyweight exercises such as squats, planks, or modified push-ups
You don’t need to be advanced—just ready to commit, show up consistently, and push yourself

Each Sankofa Fit session is intentionally designed to challenge your body, sharpen your focus, and build momentum week over week. Here’s what you can expect:
Warm-Up & Mobility: Sessions begin with dynamic movement and mobility work to activate your body, elevate your heart rate, and prepare you for focused training.
Strength & Conditioning Block: The heart of the session—this section includes functional strength circuits, cardio-based drills, and purposeful movement patterns. You'll rotate between upper and lower body focus, explosive power, and endurance-based work.
Core & Finisher: Expect targeted core training and an intensity-driven finisher to build mental grit and help you leave it all on the mat.
Cooldown & Recovery Tools: Guided stretching and recovery support help your body reset, restore, and stay ready for the next session.
Each session builds on the last—progressively increasing in intensity, challenge, and complexity. The dynamic structure keeps your body from plateauing, while your growing strength and endurance unlock new levels of performance. This is training that evolves with you.

We understand life gets busy! We recommend attending at least 2 sessions per week to stay on track and see results. To support your schedule, we offer two hybrid sessions (in-person + virtual) and one fully virtual session each week for maximum flexibility.

Yes. Many of our participants travel or have occasional schedule conflicts. Our virtual sessions and community group help keep you connected and accountable, even when you can’t attend live.

No special equipment is required to get started. For in-person sessions, we provide all necessary gear. For virtual workouts, we design the program to work with minimal or no equipment. If any optional tools are recommended (like resistance bands or light weights), we'll let you know in advance and offer alternatives using household items.
